Diagnostic Settings
Thespeakerphonediagnosticsettingsareconguredby:
• Selecting Diagnostic Settings in the Code Blue Conguration.
• Click the Enablecheckbox.
• InputtheSNMP Server IP address
and SNMP Server Port number to
monitorthespeakerphonewithan
SNMP management software or with
CodeBlue’sToolVoxGateway,with
UnitProgramming&Diagnostic(UPD)Software.
• PoEPowerFailure:PoEpoweristhesolepowersourceandifaninterruptioninserviceisexpe-
rienced,noTrapwillbesentduetolossofPoEenergy.ThePoEswitchshouldalertyoutoPoE
switch state.
Others – (Tests)
Microphonetestingisdisabledbydefault,andenablingwillshowanumberofreoccurringtest
routines.Themicrophoneissupportedbythespeaker’sabilitytogeneratetonesattheschedule
intervals.
• Thetestconsistsofbeepsfromthespeaker,whichwillbereceivedbythemicrophone.
The maximum number of beeps: 10 beeps
Oncethemicrophonedetectsthebeeps,thetestiscompleteuntilthenextscheduledtestis
present.
The beep tone volume choices are soft, loud, or soft to loud.
Beeptonevolumesettingshouldbesettoanticipateambientnoiselevelatthetimeofthe
test.
• The test schedule choices are:
Every15minutes
Hourly
Daily
Weekly
Testingondemand:Whenmicrophonespeakertestingisenabled,theadministratormayselectto
Run Test whileloggedintothespeakerphone.Theresultsofthetestwillonlybepresentinafailed
SNMPtrap,whichwouldappearintheSNMPserverlogsorUPDDiagnosticReportslogs.TheMIB
valueisCODEBLUE-MIB::micSpeakerFailure.
