INSTRUCTIONS TRANSLATED FROM ITALIAN
PREAMBLE
This instruction manual (hereinafter referred to as “manual”, meaning “instruction manual”) consists of
two separate parts.
The rst part is addressed to both the end user and the
SPECIALIST TECHNICIAN
and contains instructions
for wheelbarrow operation and maintenance. The second part is for the exclusive use of the
SPECIALIST
TECHNICIAN
and provides instructions for the correct assembly of the machine.
SPECIALIST TECHNICIAN
refers to a person, generally from the support centre, specially trained and
authorised to carry out non-routine maintenance and repairs on the machine. It should be recalled
that work on electrical parts must be carried out by a
SPECIALIST TECHNICIAN
who is also a
QUALIFIED
ELECTRICIAN
, i.e. a person professionally qualied and trained in the checking, installation and repair
of electrical equipment, in accordance with good workmanship practice and in accordance with the
regulations in force in the country where the machine is installed.
CAUTION
• Machines are supplied in assembly kits: a wheelbarrow equipped with a 50, 80 or 120 litres tank
and a CBM (Comet Battery Module) containing an EVERFLO motor pump (battery operated).
The CBM module must be of the type provided by the Manufacturer. Dierent types of modules may
not be used unless authorised by the Manufacturer.
• Assembly of the spraying wheelbarrow and installation of the CBM module must be carried out by a
SPECIALIST TECHNICIAN
, observing the instructions given in the second part of this manual.
• After the CBM module has been installed, the ID and serial number of the trolley kit and the CBM
module must be communicated to the Manufacturer; the Manufacturer will issue a CE plate (29) for
the machine, to be axed on its base (9) (CRRC 51 ECO on frame) by the
SKILLED TECHNICIAN
.
• The Manufacturer’s “Declaration of Conformity” is considered guaranteed only if the previous
points are scrupulously complied with and therefore it is only valid if the machine’s serial number
is in place.
PART ONE
GENERAL INFORMATION
We recommend carefully reading this manual, the manual for the EVERFLO motor pump and the manual
for the CBM module included on the machine: pay special care to the information contained therein.
Particular care must be paid to reading the parts of the text marked with the symbol:
CAUTION
as they contain important safety instructions for using the motor pump.
The Manufacturer shall not be liable for damage arising from:
• failure to comply with the contents of this manual, in that of the EVERFLO motor pump and in that of
the manual of the CBM module that is included on the machine;
• use of the machine other than that set out in the
“DESIGNATED USE”
section;
• use contrary to the regulations in force regarding safety and accident prevention in the workplace;
• tampering with safety devices or maximum operating pressure limitations;
• erroneous assembly or installation;
• lack of due care regarding routine maintenance intervals;
• modications or interventions not authorised by the Manufacturer;
• use of non-original spare parts or accessories or those unsuitable for the machine model;
• repairs not carried out by a
SPECIALIST TECHNICIAN
.
