All cleaning must be carried out only after the procedures described in the section
“SHUTDOWN
, i.e. with
no moving parts, with no hoses containing liquid under pressure and when cooling is complete.
In particular, remember to disconnect the battery.
All cleaning procedures must be carried out with the machine positioned on a at surface, in conditions
stability.
Wear suitable protective clothing when cleaning and emptying the tank.
Liquids arising from the emptying and rinsing of the tank must be collected in special containers and
reused in subsequent treatments or adequately disposed of at recycling centres and, in all cases, in
compliance with the legislative provisions of the country where the machine is in operation.
Do not wash the machine near owing water, wells, springs or ditches.
Do not use thinners or solvents to clean the machine.
a) Carry out the procedures described in the section
“SHUTDOWN
.
b) Empty the tank completely by unscrewing the drain plug (10).
c) Clean and rinse the inside of the tank.
d) Screw the drain plug (10) back on, securing it tightly, and put clean water into the tank.
e) Reset the delivery pressure as described in part c) of the section
“OPERATION”
.
f) Put the machine into operation so that it can be primed in accordance with part d) of the
section
“OPERATION”
.
g) Use the trigger (18) of the sprayer lance (12) and spray inside the tank in order to carry out a pump
cleaning cycle.
h) Repeat parts a) to d) without putting water back into the tank.
i) Roll up the delivery hose carefully, avoiding bending.
l) Store the machine carefully in a dry, clean location, taking care not to damage the delivery hose.
WARNING
Never store the machine with chemicals inside it.
The machine is subject to frost damage.
In order to prevent the formation of ice inside the machine in harsh environments, it is advisable to
aspirate an automotive antifreeze and then proceed to completely evacuate it before storing the
machine. If it is not possible to protect the machine as outlined above, place it in a warm environment
before start-up for a period of time that is sucient for any ice that may have formed inside it to melt
– failure to comply with these simple requirements may result in serious damage to the machine.
CAUTION
The antifreeze liquid must be properly disposed of and not discharged into the environment.
MAINTENANCE
CAUTION
Comply with the safety instructions for maintenance contained in the EVERFLO motor pump manual
and in the manual of the CBM module that is included on the machine.

CAUTION.
To ensure the safety of the machine, only original spare parts supplied by the Manufacturer
or approved thereby must be used.
High pressure hoses, ttings and spray lances are important for safety purposes – use only those
recommended by the Manufacturer.
Nozzles, lling lters and suction lters are important for environmental protection purposes – use
only those recommended by the Manufacturer.
