• Do not use any taps assembled on the machine if they are not connected to a device that prevents
accidental leakage of the pumped liquid.
• Do not deactivate or tamper with the controls and safety devices and the pressure limiter/control valve.
a) Completely unroll the delivery hose (1).
b) Check that the sprayer lance (12) is closed: trigger (18) open (position
“OFF”
.
c) Reset the delivery pressure as follows:
- rotate the knob (20) fully counter-clockwise to position
“BYPASS”
;
d) Put the machine into operation so that it can be primed. Place the switch on the CBM module to
position“I” (see the CBM module user manual).
e) Pressurise the machine as follows:
- rotate the knob (20) until the desired pressure is reached (by turning clockwise the pressure increases;
counter-clockwise, it decreases); when present, the pressure is indicated on the pressure gauge (21).
f) Use the trigger (18) of the sprayer lance (12) to deliver the spray. It is advisable to carry out this procedure
with the lance spraying into the tank to prevent dispersal of the chemical product.
g) The ow rate of sprayed liquid depends on the operating pressure, the nozzle (19) used and the spray
angle setting. The spray angle can be changed by turning the nozzle head.
WARNING
• To allow the machine to be primed quickly, follow the procedure as described in point c) each time the
tank is emptied of liquid.
• Do not operate the machine:
- if it is too noisy and/or if there are clear signs of water or oil leakage underneath it: if this is so, have it
checked by a
SPECIALIST TECHNICIAN
;
- exposing it directly to sunlight, with a temperature greater than 40°C.
SHUTDOWN
CAUTION
• Comply with the safety instructions for shut-down contained in the EVERFLO motor pump manual
and in the manual of the CBM module that is included on the machine.
• Check that, once the shut-down procedures have been carried out, the EVERFLO motor pump is switched
o and no hoses contain liquid under pressure.
• When the machine is left to cool, ensure:
- it is not left unattended if there are unsupervised children, elderly or disabled persons present;
- it is stable with no risk of falling;
- it is not in contact with, or in the immediate vicinity of, ammable materials.
a) Place the switch on the CBM module to the position“O” (see the CBM module user manual).
b) Reset the delivery pressure as described in part c) of the section
“OPERATION”
.
c) If the machine is not be used for some time, disconnect the battery cables.
d) Press the trigger (18) of the sprayer lance. (12) in order to purge any residual pressure.
e) Wait until the machine has completely cooled down.
CLEANING AND STORAGE
CAUTION
• Comply with the safety instructions for cleaning and storage contained in the EVERFLO motor
pump manual and in the manual of the CBM module that is included on the machine.
• Pay particular attention to the information in the section
“WARNINGS REGARDING PUMPED CHEMICALS”
.
