► Pole Bracket Mounting Installation, Kit 760242250
Important:
■ The hardware in Table F supports weight of cabinet with batteries and equipment installed per
Table C on an eight-inch pole; hole size for upper and lower brackets is 7/16". Plan installation
per Figure 31.
To mount the brackets to a pole:
1. Mark a level line down the center of the pole with a level or a plumb line.
2. Determine mounting height from base of pole for the lower pole mount bracket; Figure 31, Figure 32.
3. Obtain the brackets and hardware from the kit per Table F and Figure 29.
a. Mark where to place the lower pole mount bracket on the pole per Figure 35 and mark hole
locations for the lower pole mount bracket.
■ Assemble the upper mounting bracket to one of the pole mount brackets per Figure 29.
■ Assemble the lower mounting bracket to the other pole mount bracket per Figure 29.
b. Drill holes for lower pole mount bracket, and fasten bracket to pole with kit hardware, Figure 29.
Note: If pole diameter is larger than 8", do not use 18" rods from kit (Table F). Obtain longer rods or
use bands to fasten brackets to the pole (customer provided), Figure 33.
4. Measure distance from bottom of lower pole mount bracket to where top of the upper pole mount
bracket will rest on the pole per Figure 31or Figure 35, and mark hole locations for the upper pole
mount bracket.
■ Drill the holes for the upper pole mount bracket, and then fasten the bracket to the pole with
appropriate hardware per Figure 29.
