Figure 36. CMC-21 Example Per Figure 35, Mounting Brackets Fastened to H-Frame Struts
H-Frame Bracket Mounting Installation, Kit 760242247
Use aftermarket kit 760242247 only to mount the cabinet in areas of limited space. Kit 760242250 is the
primary and preferential kit to pole mount the cabinet.
Important:
Do not mount cabinet to wall / H-frame from the door hinge side (restricts door from
opening), and if mounted from the backside the rear panel is inaccessible.
Make sure that wall, poles, and H-frame struts can support a minimum cabinet weight per
Table C and are structurally reliable, Figure 34.
Make sure kit is on site, Table G. The customer is to provide mounting hardware able to support
a minimum cabinet weight per Table C; hole size for both upper and lower mounting brackets is
5/8". Plan the installation per Figure 35.
To mount the brackets to an H-Frame on a wall (Figure 37):
Note: Make sure the wall and frame can support a minimum cabinet weight per Table C and is
structurally reliable.
1. Mark position of the lower strut first to required cabinet mounting distance above ground level.
2. Mark position of hole-to-hole distance between upper and lower struts and set hole distance between
upper and lower struts plus or minus 0.30" C-C as given per Figure 35.
For CMC-21 at 38.62" per example in Figure 37
For CMC-28 at 50.87" per example in Figure 37
3. Drill the mounting holes and fasten the struts to the wall with customer provided hardware.
Fasten additional required strut above the lower strut; Figure 35, Figure 36, Figure 37.
4. Fasten the upper and lower mounting brackets to the H-frame struts.
5. Verify that the upper and lower mounting brackets vertically align C-C with each other, Figure 35.
