GNSS Reception Considerations
GNSS reception considerations must be considered as follows:
If possible, mount the G2 elevated above all obscuration. Ensure that there is an
unobstructed clear view of the sky when the unit is mounted in order to avoid blocking of
satellites signals.

If G2 cannot be mounted above all objects, mount it where it has a clear view of the sky
±85° from zenith.

If ±85° zenith sky view is not possible, mount it where its view of sky is blocked no more
than 10° horizontally.

It is important to position the G2 as far away as possible from any metallic or magnetic
surfaces which could reflect the GNSS satellites signals.
