NO FLOW IN
Administration set is blocked or
kinked between the container and
the pump.
Check for any kinking or blockage in the administration set tubing between the
tube feed container and the pump.
If necessary, reposition the administration set, pump or nutrition container to ensure
feed can flow freely.
Open the door, check the administration set installation, and re-close the door.
Restart feeding.
NO FLOW OUT
Administration set or feeding tube
is blocked or kinked after the
pump, at the patient side.
Check for any kinking or blockage in the administration set tubing between the pump
and the feeding tube.
If necessary, reposition the administration set or pump to ensure feed can flow freely.
Check that the feeding tube is clear and not kinked. Flush feeding tube if necessary.
Open the door, check the administration set installation, and re-close the door.
Restart feeding.
LOW BATTERY
The battery is discharging and is
running low.
Connect pump AC power via pump AC adapter (see page 4).
Charge battery.
Acknowledge the READY TO USE message by pressing
.
LOW BATTERY
The battery is almost fully dis-
charged and should be plugged in
immediately; otherwise Compat
Ella
®
will shut down shortly.
CHARGE BATTERY
Battery is completely depleted
and must charge briefly before
pump can be used. Pump will
display READY TO USE when the
pump can be restarted.
PUMP WAITING
The pump is in pause mode and 2
minutes have passed without any
pump activity.
Resume administration or switch pump off.
Extend inactivity timeout by another 2 minutes by pressing
