Precautions:
• When programming a new therapy, make sure to clear the VOLUME GIVEN THIS THERAPY parameter.
• After starting a therapy, verify all therapy parameters (including rate, dose, and volume given this therapy).
Notes:
• Holding or changes values rapidly:
• When setting rate, the value will pause at 1, 50, 125, 250, 600 mL/h.
• When setting Bolus, the value will pause at 1, 125, 250, 500, 750, 1000, 1250 and 1500 mL.
• Total Volume will also pause at 1, 125, 250, 500, 750, 1000, 1250, 1500, 2000 and 4000 mL.
• When at maximum value, pressing again will go to the minimum value and vice versa e.g. rate from 600 mL/h to 1 mL/h.
• The pump will sound the alarm when a programmed volume is completely given or the nutrition container runs out. The END OF THERAPY alarm may be
temporarily deactivated (see 12.).
• After each bolus is complete, the pump will display an INTERVAL PAUSE and TIME TO NEXT BOLUS screen showing when the next bolus will start.
This cycle will continue until the pump is turned off, a defined amount of tube feed is given or the tube feed runs out.
10. Pausing a Nutritional Therapy

At any time while the pump is running, you may pause the nutritional therapy by pressing . The Run icon disappears and
the pump displays a PUMP PAUSED message. Press
to resume the nutritional therapy. Use the Pause mode to:
• Change the feeding program
• Change the feed container
• Administer medication without switching the pump off
• Silence an alarm and correct problems
Note: After 2 minutes, an alert sounds and the message PUMP WAITING appears in the display. Press
to snooze the alarm and to extend the pause
mode by an additional 2 minutes.
