15.2 Alarm Overview and Troubleshooting

End administration or program a new nutritional therapy.

NUTRITIONAL THERAPY.
Clear VOLUME GIVEN THIS THERAPY to start a new nutritional therapy.
The reprogrammed target volume must be higher than the VOLUME GIVEN THIS
THERAPY.
Note: If not cleared before each new nutritional therapy, the end of therapy alarm will
sound prematurely.
DOOR OPEN
The pump door is open or the door
mechanism is damaged.
Close the pump door.
If damaged, contact your sales representative or an approved service provider.
REINSTALL SET
Administration set inserted
incorrectly or not at all.
Open the door, remove and reinstall the cassette and tubing.
Refer to page 2 and section 6.4 of the user manual.
AIR IN LINE
Feed container and administration
set are empty down to the pump.
Administration set not adequately
filled.
If nutritional therapy is finished, end the administration, switch pump off and flush
feeding tube.
If nutritional therapy is not finished:
Replace or refill tube feeding container, prime the administration set and restart
feeding or,
Check for and release the occlusion, if any, between the container and the pump and
restart feeding or,
Ensure the administration set is completely filled and prime if necessary and restart
feeding.
Precaution: Ensure that the administration set is not connected to a patient
when priming.
