BASIC OPERATION OF THE BALANCING
MEASURING DEVICE AND
FUNCTION SELECTION
Wheel balancer
Turn on the power switch on the left side of the measuring device;
indicator a displays “001”, and then the indicators a and b switch
to”-A-”,”8.0”
Mounting the wheel
Select the positioning cone that fits the central hole of the rim, install it at the centre of
rotation shaft, then tighten and lock it using the nut with handle. (The maximum weight
of the wheel should not exceed 65 kg.)
Entering value “A”
Pull distance measuring arm A to the position where the balancing weights are to be ap-
plied. Press the button near “A” and enter value measured by the arm into
indicator b; indicator a should display the value as “A”.
Entering value” L”
Use the width caliper provided with the accessories to measure the width between the
two sides of the rim, press the button near “L” to enter the value measured
by the arm indicator b; indicator a should display the value as “L”.
Entering value “D”
After confirming the diameter value, press the button near “D” to enter the
value in indicator b; indicator a should display the value as “D”.
Press the button to start operation; the measuring device automatically stops after
a few seconds. (Lower the protection guard, the wheel balancer automatically starts up, if
the wheel balancer is equipped with a protection guard, the operator does not need to
