1 DESCRIPTION, OPERATION AND SPECIFICATION
1.1 DESCRIPTION
1.1.1 General
The Cockpit Control Unit Type D51616-XXXX forms part of
the aircraft Combined Voice and Flight Data Recording
System and is usually installed in the cockpit.
The unit is a panel mounted enclosure containing the Area
Microphone Pre-amplifier, provision for an integral or
externally mounted Area Microphone, a Headphone jack
socket together with pushbuttons and indicators for the self-
test and voice erase facilities of the DAFR.
