Under these conditions, air is taken
from the passenger compartment and
is recirculated, with no air being taken
from outside the vehicle.

We therefore advise you to return
to normal mode (external air) as
soonastheairrecirculationfunc
tion is no longer required, by
pressing the 6 button.
Air recirculation operates as fol
lows:
– isolatingthevehiclefromtheexter
nal atmosphere (e.g. when driving in
polluted areas, etc.);
– to bring the passenger compartment
to the desired temperature as quickly
as possible.
Rapid demisting
Turn controls 1 , 3 and 6 to positions:
– demisting ;
– maximum fan speed;
– external air.
Using the heating and air conditioning
systemincreasesthespeedofdemist
ing.
Heated rear screen
With the engine running,
press the button 4 (the warning light
comes on).
This function de-ices/demists the rear
screen and the electric de-icing
rearviewmirrors(dependingontheve
hicle).
Depending on the vehicle, the function
is stopped:
– afteraperiodoftimesetbythesys
tem (the indicator light disappears);
– by pressing button 4 again(theindi
cator light disappears).
