4. Pull out the oil dipstick, clean it,
and then insert it into its original
position. Then, pull it out again and
check if the oil level is within the
specied range.
5. If the oil level is too low, add new
oil so that the level is within the al-
lowable range.

IMPORTANT
When using oil of different
maker or viscosity from the
previous one, remove all of
the old oil. Never mix two dif-
ferent types of oil.
Do not start the engine when
the oil level is below lower limit.

can lead to malfunction of the

Never add the oil over the up-
per limit.

CHECKING COOLANT LEVEL (F)
1. Check to see that the coolant level
is between the "FULL" and "LOW "
marks of reservoir tank.
2. When the coolant level drops due
to evaporation, add water only up
to the "FULL" level mark. In case
of leakage, add anti-freeze and
water in the specied mixing ratio
up to the middle of the range. (Re-
fer to the instructions for cleaning
the cooling system and changing
coolant in Chapter Maintenance
for every two years.)
