7.2 Opening and closing the units
7.2.1 About opening the units
At certain times, you have to open the unit. Example:
▪ When connecting the refrigerant piping
▪ When connecting the electrical wiring
▪ When maintaining or servicing the unit
DANGER: RISK OF ELECTROCUTION
Do NOT leave the unit unattended when the service cover is removed.
7.2.2 To open the outdoor unit
DANGER: RISK OF ELECTROCUTION
DANGER: RISK OF BURNING/SCALDING
See "8.3.8 To connect the refrigerant piping to the outdoor unit" [4 77] and
"9.2.1To connect the electrical wiring to the outdoor unit"[493].
7.2.3 To close the outdoor unit
1 Close the switch box cover.
2 Close the service cover.
NOTICE
When closing the outdoor unit cover, make sure that the tightening torque does NOT
exceed 4.1N•m.
