complies with all safety regulations.
NOTICE
General commissioning checklist. Next to the commissioning instructions in this
chapter, a general commissioning checklist is also available on the Daikin Business
Portal (authentication required).
The general commissioning checklist is complementary to the instructions in this
chapter and can be used as a guideline and reporting template during commissioning
and hand-over to the user.

18.1 Precautions when commissioning
NOTICE
Before starting up the system, the unit MUST be energised for at least 6 hours to
avoid compressor breakdown during startup.
NOTICE
ALWAYS complete the refrigerant piping of the unit before operating. If NOT, the
compressor will break.
INFORMATION
During the first running period of the unit, the required power may be higher than
stated on the nameplate of the unit. This phenomenon is caused by the compressor,
that needs a continuous run time of 50hours before reaching smooth operation and
stable power consumption.
18.2 Checklist before commissioning
1 After the installation of the unit, check the items listed below.
2 Close the unit.
3 Power up the unit.
