8.1 Parameter Group 0-** Operation/Display
0-37 Display Text 1

In this parameter it is possible to write an
individual text string for display in the LCP or
to be read via serial communication. If to be
displayed permanently select Display Text 1 in
0-20 Display Line 1.1 Small, 0-21 Display Line 1.2
Small, 0-22 Display Line 1.3 Small, 0-23 Display
Line 2 Large or 0-24 Display Line 3 Large.
Parameter 0-37 is linked to Parameter 12-08
Host Name. Changing Parameter 12-08 will
change Parameter 0-37 - but not in the other
direction.
8.2 Parameter Group 8-** Communication
and Option
8-01 Control Site
Option: Function:
The setting in this parameter overrides the
settings in parameter 8-50 Coasting Select to
8-56 Preset Reference Select.
[0] Digital and
ctrl.word
Control by using both digital input and
control word.
[1] Digital only Control by using digital inputs only.
[2] Controlword
only
Control by using control word only.
8-02 Control Source
Option: Function:
NOTICE
This parameter cannot be adjusted
while the motor is running.
Select the source of the control word: one of
2 serial interfaces or 4 installed options.
During initial power-up, the frequency
converter automatically sets this parameter to
[3] Option A, if it detects a valid fieldbus
option installed in slot A. If the option is
removed, the frequency converter detects a
change in the configuration, sets
parameter 8-02 Control Source back to default
setting RS-485, and the frequency converter
trips. If an option is installed after initial
power-up, the setting of
parameter 8-02 Control Source does not
change, but the frequency converter trips and
displays: Alarm 67 Option Changed.
8-02 Control Source
Option: Function:
When retrofitting a bus option into a
frequency converter that did not have a bus
option installed to begin with, take an ACTIVE
decision to move the control to Bus based.
This is done for safety reasons to avoid an
accidental change.

8-03 Control Timeout Time

Enter the maximum time expected to pass
between the reception of two consecutive
telegrams. If this time is exceeded, it
indicates that the serial communication has
stopped. The function selected in
parameter 8-04 Control Timeout Functionis
then carried out. A valid control word
triggers the time-out counter.
8-04 Control Timeout Function
Select the time-out function. The time-out function activates
when the control word fails to be updated within the time
period specified in parameter 8-03 Control Timeout Time.
Option: Function:
[0] Off Resumes control via serial bus (fieldbus or
standard) using the most recent control
word.
[1] Freeze output Freezes output frequency until communi-
cation resumes.
[2] Stop Stops with auto restart when communi-
cation resumes.
[3] Jogging Runs the motor at JOG frequency until
communication resumes.
[4] Max. speed Runs the motor at maximum frequency
until communication resumes.
[5] Stop and trip Stops the motor, then resets the frequency
converter to restart: via the fieldbus, via
[Reset], or via a digital input.
