Skin fittings and Stopcocks

occasionally: hose clips should be tightened
at least annually and swivel nuts for the skin
fittings checked and tightened every two
years. The quick-acting ball valves have a
gland beneath the operating lever, which
can be tightened if small quantities of water
emerge.
