Set Toner Save Mode
Save toner using Toner Save Mode. When you set Toner Save to On , the print appears lighter. The default setting is
Off.
1. Press p or q to select the General Setup option, and then press OK.
2. Press p or q to select the Ecology option, and then press OK.
3. Press p or q to select the Toner Save option, and then press OK.
4. Press p or q to select the On or Off option.
Press OK.
Set Quiet Mode
Use Quiet Mode to reduce printing noise. When Quiet Mode is turned On, the print speed becomes slower. The
factory setting is Off.
1. Press p or q to select the General Setup option, and then press OK.
2. Press p or q to select the Ecology option, and then press OK.
3. Press p or q to select the Quiet Mode option, and then press OK.
4. Press p or q to select the On or Off option.
Press OK.

1. Scroll through each menu level by pressing p or q .
2. When the option you want appears on the LCD, press OK.
The LCD displays the next menu level.
3. Press p or q to scroll to your selection.
4. Press OK.
5. When you have finished setting an option, the LCD displays Accepted.
