Next steps
1. If removed, install the GPU air shroud.
2. Install the full length expansion card riser.
3. Install the GPU air shroud filler.
4. Install the GPU air shroud top cover.
5. Follow the procedure listed in After working inside your system.
6. Install any device drivers required for the card as described in the documentation for the card.
Removing R1 and R3 paddle cards
R1 and R3 paddle cards are supported on 16 x 2.5-inch NVMe direct-attach configuration only..
Prerequisites
1. Remove the air shroud or remove the GPU air shroud.
2. Remove cooling fan cage assembly.
NOTE: Observe the cable routing before disconnecting the cables.
3. Remove the paddle card cable from side wall bracket.
4. Disconnect the paddle card cables from the drive backplane.
Steps
Press the blue release tab on the paddle cards and holding the edges lift the paddle cards from the riser connector on the
system board.
