Caution: The array is heavy. Be sure to support it with both hands when you remove it from the enclosure.
After the array is out of the enclosure, place it on a sturdy, flat surface.
Inserting the Array into the M1000e Chassis
The PS-M4110 storage blade array can operate only when properly installed in a Dell PowerEdge M1000e Blade
Enclosure. The M1000e chassis provides power and network connectivity for the PS-M4110 array.
The PowerEdge M1000e Blade Enclosure has 16 single-wide half-height slots.
The PS-M4110 storage blade array is double-wide and half-height.
You can install up to four PS-M4110 blade arrays (shown in Figure 11) in a PowerEdge M1000e Blade
Enclosure (shown in Figure 12). Arrays can be installed in any available top or bottom slots in the M1000e
chassis.
