Installing a Drive
Before you begin to install a drive, open the array's inner drawer to expose the array drive slot where you intend
to install the drive, as described in Opening the Array Drawer on page 12.
The array drives are installed with the drive's release latch and LEDs facing upward, and the drive's connections
facing downward. The drive release latch must be fully opened before inserting the drive into the slot.
To install a drive into the array:
1. Wear electrostatic protection when handling a drive. See Protecting Hardware on page 6
