Removing the user-facing camera
1. Follow the procedure in before working inside your computer.
2. Remove the palmrest and keyboard assembly.
3. Remove the display assembly for laptops, or display assembly for 2-in-1s.
4. For laptops, remove the display bezel; for 2-in-1 computers, remove the touch-panel assembly.
5. Remove the display panel.

procedure.
1. Disconnect the display cable from the user-facing camera module.
2. Use a plastic scribe to pry the user-facing camera module from the display cover.
3. Lift and remove the user-facing camera module from the display cover.
Installing the user-facing camera
If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation procedure.
