Steps
1. Remove the two (M2x3) screws that secure the optional Type-C module.
2. Slide the optional Type-C module away from its slot on the chassis.
3. Flip over the optional Type-C module and hold it in place over the system board.
4. Disconnect the Type-C DisplayPort cable from its connector (VIDEO) on the system board.
5. Disconnect the Type-C USB cable from its connector (TYPE-C) on the system board.
6. Remove the optional Type-C module from the computer.

Prerequisites
If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation procedure.

Steps
1. To remove the knock-out port cover, insert a flat-head screwdriver in the hole of the bracket from the outside of the
computer. Push the bracket to release it, and then remove it out from the computer.
NOTE: This step applies if you are upgrading the computer with no existing I/O module.
2. Connect the Type-C DisplayPort cable to its connector (VIDEO) on the system board.
3. Connect the Type-C USB cable to its connector (TYPE-C) on the system board.
4. Insert the optional Type-C module into its slot on the back panel of the computer.
5. Replace the two (M3x3) screws that secure the optional Type-C module.
