Steps
1. In reverse sequential order (3->2->1), loosen the three captive screws that secure the heat sink to the system board.
2. Lift the heat sink off the system board.
Installing the heat sink

Prerequisites
If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation process.
About this task
NOTE: If either the processor or the heat sink is replaced, use the thermal paste that is provided in the kit to ensure that
thermal conductivity is achieved.

Steps
1. Place the heat sink on the system board.
2. Align the screw holes on the heat sink with the screw holes on the system board.
3. In sequential order (1->2->3), tighten the three captive screws that secure the heat sink to the system board.
Next steps
