Removing the Fan Assembly
Prerequisites
1. Follow the procedure in before working inside your computer.
2. Remove the SD Card.
3. Remove the base cover.
4. Disconnect the battery.
About this task
The figure indicates the location of the fan assembly and provides a visual representation of the removal procedure.
Steps
1. Disconnect the IO board cable from the connector on the system board and remove the cables from the cable management
routes along side the fan assembly.
2. Remove the two (M2x2) screws from the fan assembly.
