Removing the Power Button
Prerequisites
1. Follow the procedure in before working inside your computer.
2. Remove the SD Card.
3. Remove the base cover.
4. Disconnect the battery.
5. Remove the IO board.
6. Remove the solid state drive.
About this task

Steps
1. Disconnect the system board cable from the connector on the power button daughterboard.
2. Remove the two (M2x3) screws that secure the shield over the power button module and peel back the adhesive tape from
over the power button daughterboard.
3. Lift the Power Button module away from the computer.
