Installing the battery
1. Insert the battery into the slot on the computer.
2. Replace the 5 M2x3 screws to secure the battery to the computer.
NOTE: The 3-cell battery has only 3 screws.
3. Connect the battery cable to the connector on the system board.
4. Install the:
a. base cover
b. SIM tray (WWAN models)
5. Follow the procedure in After working inside your computer.
WLAN Card
Removing the WLAN card
1. Follow the procedure in Before working inside your computer.
2. Remove the:
a. Removing the SIM tray – WWAN models on page 12
b. base cover
3. To remove the WLAN card:
a. Remove the M2x3 screw that secures the WLAN bracket to the system [1].
b. Slightly pull the bracket and lift it off the WLAN card [2].
c. Disconnect the WLAN antenna cables from the connectors on the WLAN card [3].
d. Pull the WLAN card from its connector on the system board [4].
