Prerequisites
1 Remove the base cover

2 Remove the wireless card.
3 Remove the fan.
4 Remove the heat sink.
Procedure
1 Open the latch and disconnect the nger-print reader cable from the system board.
2 Peel the tape that secures the touch-screen board cable and display cable to the system board.
3 Open the latch and disconnect the touch-screen board cable from the system board.
4 Open the latch and disconnect the display cable from the system board.
5 Remove the touch-screen board cable and display cable from the routing guides on the palm-rest assembly.
6 Turn the computer over and open the display as far as possible.
CAUTION: Place the computer on a soft and clean surface to avoid scratching the display.
7 Turn the computer over.
8 Remove the seven screws (M2.5x5) that secure the display hinges to the I/O board and system board.
9 Lift the display assembly o
the palm-rest assembly.
