: Applicable only for computers that are shipped with ngerprint reader.
Prerequisites
1 Remove the base cover

2 Remove the wireless card
.
3 Remove the fan
.
4 Remove the heat sink.
5 Remove the display assembly.
6 Remove the I/O board.
Procedure
1 Disconnect the ngerprint-reader cable from the system board and peel the ngerprint-reader cable o the palm-rest assembly.
2 Remove the screw (M3x3) that secures the power-button board to the palm-rest assembly.
3 Using a plastic scribe, peel the power-button board from the palm-rest assembly.
4 Lift the power-button board, along with its cable, o the palm-rest assembly.
