Removing the Hard Drive
1. Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer.
2. Remove the battery.
3. Loosen the captive screws that secure the hard drive to the hard-drive cage.
4. Pull the release tab to release the hard-drive cage from the computer.
5. Remove the hard-drive cage from the computer.
6. Slide the hard drive away from the computer.
7. Using the black pull-tab, lift the hard drive up and remove it from the computer.
8. Remove the screws that secure the black pull-tab bar to the hard drive.
9. Remove the black pull-tab bar from the hard drive.
Replacing the Hard Drive
To replace the hard drive, perform the above steps in reverse order.
