About this task
The following images indicate the location of the UMA system board and provide a visual representation of the removal
procedure.
Steps
1. Disconnect the cables from the system board.
NOTE: See UMA system board connectors for location of connectors.
2. Remove the two (M2.5x5) screws from the right hinge.
3. Remove the single (M2x2) and two (M2x3) screws that secure the system board to the palm-rest.
4. Carefully lift the system board away from the chassis.
NOTE:
For systems shipped with a USB Type-C port, DO NOT remove the Type-C bracket that is secured to the
system board.
