parallel, the rest of units can share the sum of loads; otherwise, all UPS units will
shut down inverters and switch to the reserve AC power to supply power to the
loads (see Figure 3-6-a and 3-6-b).

When the utility AC power fails or other unstable voltage occurs, the batteries will
instantly provide the inverter with DC power to keep continuous operation. Hence,
the UPS output will not be interrupted (see Figure 3-7-a and 3-7-b).
