To designate the safety instructions the following symbols and notices are provided in
appropriate places throughout this document:
DANGER OF ELECTRICAL CURRENT!
This symbol indicates a risk of electric shock when working on the equipment.
PERSONAL INJURY!
This section specifies procedures and precautions for the prevention of personal
injury.
WARNING: RISK OF ROTATING COMPONENTS!
This section specifies procedures and precautions for preventing personal injury as
a result of rotating unit parts.
DANGER DUE TO OVERHEAD LOADS!
This section specifies procedures and precautions for the prevention of personal
injury and damage to units through falling components.
DANGER OF HOT SURFACES!
This section specifies procedures and precautions for preventing personal injury due
to hot surfaces.
DANGER OF SCALDING!
This section specifies procedures and precautions for the prevention of personal
injury resulting from scalding by steam.
DANGER OF INFLAMMABLE MATERIALS!
This section specifies procedures and precautions for the prevention of personal
injury resulting from fire risk.
DANGER – SHARP CUTTING EDGES!
