2 Technical Description
2.1 Unit overview F800
The closed cooling cycle of a F800 consists of a scroll compressor, water-cooled con-
denser (accessory), air-cooled condenser, expansion valve with injection-capillary
tubes and air cooler. The cooling cycle is filled with environmentally-friendly R407C
(see also Fig. 2-2: Refrigeration circuit).

2.2 F800 unit types:
Base type 1 (F8SG) Basic unit with white casing for placement and assembly in an indoor swimming
pool:
– Dehumidification in recirculating air mode
– Cooling cycle with completely hermetically sealed scroll compressor, completely
piped and filled with environmentally-friendly refrigerant
– Completely wired internal electronics with all functions, including the safety chain to
protect installation components and generate protective extra-low voltage for the
humidity controller (accessory F8ZRG – see "Remote control" on page 8)
– All materials in corrosion-resistant configuration for the atmosphere and water qual-
ity customary in swimming pools
Base type 2 F8BG
– Like base type 1 with additional pool water condenser
– A part of the recovered energy is returned to the pool water here, again increasing
the efficiency
Base type 3 F8PG
– Like base type 1 with additional additional PWW heating register
– The thermal output is increased by the additional PWW heating register. This is
absolutely necessary for the operation of the dehumidifier with outside-air rate
Base type 4 F8KG
– Like base type 1 with additional pool water condenser and additional PWW heating
register
Unit types
without casing
F8S, F8B, F8P, F8K
– All base types can also be delivered without casing, e.g. for rear wall mounting
– the G is omitted for the respective type designation
