Setting Defaults
Item Setting Details (Items in bold are factory default)
Skip Back 0.5 to 2 to 60 sec: Set the skip back time for a track that is currently being
played back to 0.5 second intervals between 0.5 and 10
seconds, or 5 second intervals between 10 and 60 seconds.
Search Mode
Sets the search mode.
Normal: Plays back audio in 2 x speed search, but does not play back audio at
faster playback speeds.
Silent: Audio is not played back during search.
Auto Fade In
Sets fade in.
Off: Does not function.
0.5 sec: Sets the volume to gradually increase within 0.5 seconds.
1.0 sec: Sets the volume to gradually increase within 1 seconds.
3.0 sec: Sets the volume to gradually increase within 3 seconds.
Auto Fade Out
Sets fade out.
Off: Does not function.
0.5 sec: Sets the volume to gradually decrease within 0.5 seconds.
1.0 sec: Sets the volume to gradually decrease within 1 seconds.
3.0 sec: Sets the volume to gradually decrease within 3 seconds.
Start Delay
Sets the playback start
timing.
Off: Does not function. (Playback starts immediately).
100 ms: Playback starts after a 0.1 second gap.
200 ms: Playback starts after a 0.2 second gap.
300 ms: Playback starts after a 0.3 second gap.
End Of Message
Sets how the EOM
display lights in the
display.
Off: Does not function.
0 sec: EOM display flashes for 0.5 seconds after the track finishes.
5 sec: EOM display flashes from 5 seconds before the track finishes.
10 sec: EOM display flashes from 10 seconds before the track finishes.
15 sec: EOM display flashes from 15 seconds before the track finishes.
20 sec: EOM display flashes from 20 seconds before the track finishes.
30 sec: EOM display flashes from 30 seconds before the track finishes.
60 sec: EOM display flashes from 60 seconds before the track finishes.
Next Trk Reserve
Reserving the next
track to playback during
playback.
Off: Playback of the selected track starts immediately.
On: When the track is selected, when currently track is stopped playback or
ENTER button is pressed, then playback the selected track (reserved track).
Master Key Off: Disables the tone control for the pitch control function.
On: Enables the tone control for the pitch control function.
End Monitor
Plays the specified
amount of time at the
end of a track.
Off: Does not function.
5sec: Playback starts from 5 seconds before the end of the track.
10sec: Playback starts from 10 seconds before the end of the track.
15sec: Playback starts from 15 seconds before the end of the track.
20sec: Playback starts from 20 seconds before the end of the track.
25sec: Playback starts from 25 seconds before the end of the track.
30sec: Playback starts from 30 seconds before the end of the track.
35sec: Playback starts from 35 seconds before the end of the track.

Dimmer
Enables/disables the
“Display Dimmer”
and “LED Dimmer”
settings.
Off: Disables the “Dimmer” settings.
On: Enables the “Display Dimmer” and “LED Dimmer” settings.
Display Dimmer
Sets the brightness of
the display.
(Enabled when the
“Dimmer” setting is
On. )
100 %: Normal brightness.
75 %: 75 % of the normal brightness.
50 %: 50 % of the normal brightness.
25 %: 25 % of the normal brightness.
0 %: Off in the standby status, and 25 % of the normal brightness during
operation.
LED Dimmer
Sets the LED
brightness.
(Enabled when the
“Dimmer” setting is
On. )
100 %: Normal brightness.
75 %: 75 % of the normal brightness.
50 %: 50 % of the normal brightness.
25 %: 25 % of the normal brightness.
Screen Saver
Sets the screen saver
operation.
Off: Does not function.
On: The screen saver starts when there are no operations for 30 minutes.
Remain Time Mode
Sets the remaining
time display.
Track: Displays the remaining time for each track.
Total: Displays the remaining time for all playback target tracks (CDDA only).
Fader Start
Sets the operations
when parallel remote
is used.
Play: Plays back while the FADER START pin of the parallel remote is closed.
Play-Pause: Plays back while the FADER START pin is closed, and pauses
when this pin is opened.
Play-Next: Plays back while the FADER START pin is closed, and jumps to the
next track when this pin is opened.
Play&Lock: Plays back while the FADER START pin is closed, and locks the
keys of the unit.
Play&Lock-Pause: Plays back when the FADER START pin closes, and locks
the keys of the unit. Playback pauses when this pin opens.
Play&Lock-Next: Plays back when the FADER START pin closes, and locks the
keys of the unit. Playback jumps to the next track when this
pin opens.
Para Rem Mode
Sets the operation
when Hot Start
playback.
Hot Start: Sets the Hot Start mode.
Hot Cue: Sets the Hot Cue mode (Playback is not performed by Hot Start).
Default Resets all of the preset settings to the defaults.
