Configure handling of the reasons for an event

1. Go to Configuration > Alarms > Event Logcodes.
2. Select an event by clicking thee links in the Event LogcodesReasons column; for example, the
Reboot command for the Power-up[%c] event. This opens a page for configuring the reason.
This page is similar to the Event Logcodes page for an event, but with the following difference:
there is no Do not log this event checkbox. There is the following additional parameter:
Inherit alarm priority from event
Causes the following Alarm Priority parameter to be disabled, and causes the priority to be
the same as the event that triggered it. The Alarm Priority parameter is the same as in the
Configuring Events page.
3. Click Apply.
Command line
There are no commands for editing event logcodes. However, you can edit the logcodes.txt file which
holds all the logcode information. For details on how to do this, see View and manage the event log.
