After setting up the Bluetooth connection , you will need to modify the properties of the
software on your PDA, Smartphone or Laptop to the telemetry data output format from
the Digifly instrument.
To choose the correct Digifly telemetry data output format go to (ADVANCED SETUP \ n.
6 TELE) , for more information read the related protocol documentation on our web site
www.digifly.com.
When the Bluetooth connection is enabled battery life will be slightly reduced.
9.7 EXTERNAL GPS CONNECTION (Cartesio Models)
An external GPS receiver can be connected to the Digifly Cartestio. Connect to the
GPS” socket on the base of the Digifly Cartesio.
To enable the external GPS receiver to send data output to the Digifly Cartesio, setup
the external GPS receiver data output to:
- Data Output Protocol = NMEA 183 2.0 or higher.
- Data Output Baud Rate = 4800.
- Connect the Digifly Cartesio to the external GPS receiver using the Digifly GPS cable.
- GPS cables for different GPS models are available from Digifly.
