Opening the Box – Checking box contents
In addition to your SmartSource Elite unit, the shipping box should contain the following items:

Arrival Quality Report form
Use to report arrival quality of product – please complete and
return as shown
Ink cartridge information sheet
(Professional Elite, Expert Elite
and Ultraviolet Elite only)
Provides ink cartridge information, including service and ordering
new cartridges
Once you have unpacked the contents of the package, do not connect the USB cable or any power
cords. Device driver software must be loaded onto the host PC before connecting your SmartSource
Elite to the PC.
Device driver and other application software may also be required to be loaded – consult your IT service
provider or application provider to be sure that all required software is loaded before connecting and
powering your SmartSource Elite unit.
