Audio
When using the modem to perform a voice call, is also necessary to switch the audio source from Windows to GSM modem.
GPS
Its possible to leave GPS powered ON even when the
M1 MDT
has been switched o . Leaving GPS on can be useful to have
an immediate posi on x at start-up, otherwise some me, usually less than one minute, can be required for a cold x.
This feature, introduced in Digitax products some years ago, is now less important since M1 MDT GPS receiver is very sen-
sible and is able to do usually a very quick cold x.
Taximeter Input /Output
These inputs are physically connected to the AITP, and managed by the Taximeter module. These inputs/outputs can
be used by the customer applica on, via AITP library calls.
Inputs can be read either by polling, or is possible by setup to ac vate the taximeter input trigger and so to receive
automa cally an event every me an input changes.
Input PIO1 can be assigned bot to AITP or to Windows CE, by a moun ng op on. By default it can be read as a Win-
dows CE input, and is the generic Input 1.
