10. Evacuation of air from the service cart
The “Evacuation of service cart“ function is only to be carried out if there is air in the device
(e. g. after maintenance works). The function can only be started if there is atmospheric pressure in the
service cart. Check the pressure on the pressure indications.
Only carry out this function if there is air in the service cart.
Otherwise the SF
6
-gas is released into the atmosphere.
The function has to be started via the manual operation.
1. Open all solenoid valves.
2. Start the vacuum pump by means of the <F3> key.
3. If the device is evacuated to the required final vacuum (< 1mbar) stop the function with the red “0“
key.
