B-6
Cautions in hoisting and lowering the machine (Continued)
WARNING
Make sure that the 6 adjuster feet at the bottom of the machine are equal in
height during the machine lowering process
If they vary in height, the machine may lose balance and topple when it is landed on
the floor, causing persons nearby severely injured or crushed to death.
Make sure to install the machine on a flat floor
If the machine is installed on a sloping or uneven floor, it may topple and cause severe
personal injury or death.
Procedures to hoist and lower the machine
Step No. Procedure
1
Wear the safety shoes and protective gloves.
2
Check the dedicated hoisting jig set to make sure that all the parts in the specified
numbers are readied.
3
Before hoisting the machine, make sure that the 6 adjuster feet at the bottom of the
machine are equal in height.
A forklift is used to transfer the unloaded machine to the installation site. Adjust the
height of the adjuster feet so that they are high enough to leave clearance under the
machine for accepting the fork of the forklift.
