Prerequisite
Switch off the laser / Unplug from the mains supply/ Disconnect the cable
Remarks
Authorized on site only for 7031printer version :
Not authorized on 7031 HD G1 printer
Not recommended for HD G2 printer
Not recommended 7031 QS

From the print head :
Remove the 3mm screws on the rear plate
Remove all CHC screws on the front plate.
CAUTION: disconnect the cable for the witness lamp from the marking head assembly.

Put the marking head in vertical
position and pull on the holding block
to get access easily to the laser
source plate.
Be careful, some screws inside rub
the holding block.

Loosen the CHC screw (A) and the
locking ring (B) as shown on the
picture.
CAUTION: Removal of the beam
expander is quite difficult and requires
delicate handling.
