5.2 Gas Measurement
Insert probe into exhaust gas pipe and secure with fixing element. Adjust probe position so,
that the probe tip is situated in the exhaust stream.
If the test condition has been selected, the display reads:
If you push "H" (
ESC
) the MSI EM200-E skips back to “Emission Test”.
With "F" (
CONTINUE
) the measurement values for the actual selected condition are locked,
you select the engine speed input and the display reads:
With "
▲
or
▼
" (
▲▼
) you may vary the value of the engine speed.
With "F" (
CONTINUE
) the shown value for the actual selected condition is accepted.
If an engine number with reference values is selected before the measurement, you will
see the reference values during the measurement.
Engine numbers with reference values may be stored in the instrument with the pc soft-
ware “Exchange_E”.
