2. Turn bayonet lock and remove cover by pulling up.
3. If necessary, remove the rubber cuff from the CO
2 absorber and store it.
4. Make sure that the sealing surface on the water trap (3) is free of soda lime and
other coarse contamination.
WARNING
Risk of chemical burns!
If the water trap does not seal tight, water may penetrate and form a caustic base
together with the soda lime.

5. Unpack new disposable cartridge from the aluminum bag. Do not use the
disposable cartridge if the aluminum bag is damaged.
6. Insert disposable cartridge.
7. Firmly close the CO
2 absorber with cover and close the bayonet lock by turning
it.
4.3.3 Filling the CO2 absorber with loose soda lime
The rebreather is only approved for use with Dräger DiveSorb® Pro soda lime.
Approx. 2.4 kg of soda lime are required per filling. Refill CO
2 absorber before each
use. Filling must take place immediately before use. The filled CO
2 absorber must
not be stored. Observe the safety data sheet for the soda lime.

WARNING
Higher CO2 content possible in the inhaled air!
If the soda lime is only used as a loose fill, the capacity may not be enough for the
planned period of use.
Fill refill absorbers so that no rattling noises are heard.
