9. Inhale several times through the mouth and exhale through the nose until the
breathing bag is emptied. If the breathing bags are emptied, the lung demand
valve must respond audibly.
WARNING
Risk of chemical burns!
In combination with moisture, soda lime forms a caustic lye.
► Do not take the mouthpiece out of your mouth now. If this should be absolutely
necessary: Close the mouthpiece closure before use. Always push the lever as
far as it will go and exhale. In intermediate position, extraneous gas or water
may penetrate.
10.Place the headband around the neck and tighten both ends.
✓ The rebreather is ready for use.
5.2 During use

► If water enters the rebreather, the dive must be stopped immediately.
NOTICE
Coupling of the mixed gas coupling under water should be avoided.
● Fill breathing bag:
● Press the bypass valve.
● Set response pressure for automatic lung demand valve:
● Light response pressure: Move the lever towards the body.
● Heavy response pressure: Move the lever away from the body.
● Before ascending in shallow water:
● Empty breathing bag: Inhale deeply once or twice and exhale the breathing
gas, e.g., through the nose, into the water.
● When swimming on the surface of the water:
a. Close mouthpiece closure and exhale to prevent ingress of extraneous gas
or water.
b. Take the mouthpiece out of your mouth.
c. Fill breathing bag to use as buoyancy aid.
● Take off rebreather under water:
a. Set relief valve to maximum value: Carefully turn the bubble diffuser
clockwise until it stops.
b. Close the cylinder valve.
c. Empty breathing bag by breathing.
d. Close the mouthpiece and stop breathing so that no extraneous gas or water
can penetrate.
