Display area
remains blank
when a reading is
expected. O2 NOT

appear on the
central alarm
display.
Calibration is
necessary.
Perform proper
calibration. Remove
sensor assembly from
breathing circuit and
press O2 CAL key.
Make sure sensor is
exposed only to room
air.

analyzer fails to
remember
calibration alarm
display but
monitor continues
to function.
Backup memory
power is not
available.
Allow anesthesia
machine back-up
battery to recharge.
The hardware
malfunctioned.
Contact NAD
qualified technical
service representative.
Pressing O2 CAL
key does not
initiate calibration.
Sensor cord is
disconnected.
Reconnect sensor cord
to input receptacle on
anesthesia machine.
Sensor cord is
damaged.
Replace housing/cord
assembly.
Display area has
no pressure
readout during
ventilation.
Pilot line is not
connected.
Ensure that pilot line
is properly connected.
Pilot line is
occluded or kinked.
Ensure that lumen of
pilot line is free of
obstructions.
Readings are
erratic.
Condensate has
accumulated in
pilot line.
Drain and reconnect
pilot line.
