General Description
Absorber
The absorber is a dual-canister system for absorbing exhaled carbon
dioxide in the rebreathing circuit of the anesthesia machine. It
incorporates an adjustable pressure limiter (APL) valve, a breathing
system pressure gauge, a fresh gas line, and connections for sensing the
following: breathing pressure, respiratory volume, frequency, and oxygen
concentration.
