Scavenger
Maintenance
The scavenger should be cleaned at least once every six months.
1. Clean the outer surface of the scavenger with a soft cloth moistened
with mild detergent and water.
2. Remove and inspect all scavenger hoses for signs of deterioration.
Replace any worn hoses.
3. If applicable, unscrew the wing nut until the needle valve assembly
can be removed from its seat. Remove the nut and disassemble the
valve. Inspect the needle valve and seat for lint or dust
accumulation. Clean with compressed air, if necessary.
