Final Position
14. When the daily checkout procedure is complete, verify that:
A. all vaporizers are off (the handwheels are set to zero)
B. the APL Valve is open (fully counterclockwise)
C. the manual/automatic switch is set to BAG
D. all flowmeters indicate 0 (or minimum)
E. the patient suction is level adequate
F. the breathing system is ready to use (the bag is in place
and all hoses are connected properly)
